研究兴趣与方向

1.基因组修饰编辑与合成生物学

利用最新发展的合成生物学前沿技术,对细胞或病原菌基因组进行精确地鉴定、修饰和编辑,鉴定宿主对病毒或病原菌的防御机制,结合表观遗传学、基因组学、蛋白组学等,发展出特定设计的工程细胞,解析这些表观遗传学修饰或基因组改造对细胞生命活动或对病原菌侵染能力的影响,并阐明这些修饰或改造对超级耐药菌的作用。


2.创新药物的设计与改造

依据药物合成的机理及对病毒、神经、肿瘤等重大疾病致病机理的认识,通过全面的病理分析,合理筛选并设计潜在药物,并通过前沿技术合成生物学、基因组编辑、基因工程、蛋白质工程、代谢工程及组合生物合成途径进行优化改造,发展相应的创新药物、mRNA疫苗和治疗手段,以获得性能改善并可应用于临床的创新药物。
