天然产物碳骨架的生物合成:
1. 分子骨架的生物合成及合成生物学改造:对聚酮、含氮杂环和甾体三大类惰性碳骨架的生物合成机制和合成生物学改造进行系统的研究,发展高效的碳骨架合成和修饰方法。
2. 分子骨架的生物催化:发展生物催化方法,高效构建含氮杂环和甾体骨架。
3. 新颖天然产物的挖掘:通过基因组挖掘等方法挖掘具有新分子骨架的活性天然产物。
